"THE TEN COMMANDMENTS"

These are my thoughts only. You may agree or disagree with them, but that is one of our freedoms, to agree to disagree.
God gave us these commandments for our own good.
We are free to make our own choices, and we
all make mistakes, bad choices, and sooner or later,
we pay for them.
You know how sometimes you feel led to go a step further
to improve your life, one day at a time.
The ten commandments God gave to Moses were for all of us.
To guide us, and to know that God is with us always.
Our country, the world, and many people have become lost.
To see the young people fall by the wayside,
because of poor parenting, little or no education,
drugs, alcohol, and moral bankruptcy.
Not only did God give us these commandments to live by
he also gave his only begotten son Jesus,
that we may be forgiven and saved, and look forward to eternal peace.
AMEN! God be with you.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
King James Version

And God spoke all these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

1.Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down to them, nor serve them.
3.Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him or her guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
4.Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shall you labour, and do all your work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
5.Honour your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God given you.
6. Do not kill.
7. Do not commit adultery.
8. Do not steal.
9. Do not bear false witness against your neighbour.
10. Do not covet your neighbour’s house, nor covet your neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbour’s.
