Lo and behold there was a momma bear and 1, 2, 3 cubs.
I called Joe to come see. And we didn't let Rags out.
The bears were looking all around and found our
bird seed feeders. And yep they were
enjoying the seed and the momma bear
knocked our wooden feeder down right outside our
corner window. All the feeders were on shepherds hooks
along side the walk right by our house so the
bears were right by our door and windows.
We stood there by the windows and watched them for almost an hour.

One cub had fun rolling around on the grass.
Then they spied or smelled the suet cakes on
one of our trees. It was so funny seeing those
cubs climb that tree and get two of the
suet holders and take them down, get the suet out and enjoy.
Of course momma helped them LOL!
And Joe had to straighten out a
couple of shepherds hooks that were bent.

To top off this story, I had written a story a momma bear
and two cubs who visited here in July of this year.
The really funny part of that story was the day
before we saw them, our pastor came to visit us
and knew we used to get bear visits all the time about four
or five years before logging was done above
us and the bears moved on.
During his prayer with us he prayed our bears would
come back and the next night they did. LOL!

Believe it or not our pastor stopped by to see us
this time, a day or two before this bear
family showed up. And yep he said he hopes
the bears return. More of them did. WOW!
