JON BRUBAKER 1941*2014 This page is a tribute to Jon, for his service protecting our country. But not only is this a tribute to him, but it is in memory of him, as a dear friend to many here on line. He was a Mennonite farm boy, raised near Manheim,PA but he wanted more out of life and graduated Culinary School at Carteret Community College, and joined the military. Jon retired as a Gunnery Sgt. with the USMC Jon also loved computers, and all the little technology gadgets. He took computer classes at Carteret Community College. Jon had many friends here on-line, and considered us his Internet family. He was honest, and sincere about his feelings on many subjects including politics. He had good neighbors, and would talk about taking treats with him to feed the dogs or cats he saw on his three to five mile walks everyday. He loved animals and took in many over the years.
