Many friends here on line, came to know her and love her as we did. She became a part of not only our lives, but also many friends and our families here at home. We told her today when she closed her eyes for her last sleep here on earth how all of you and us loved her and will miss her. This sofa became HERS _ she slept on it at night, or just rested on it when we would be here in the living room. She was the QUEEN! Here Lilah is playing with a shredded log after Joe cut down a tree that a black bear clawed up to mark his territory. Lilah always supervised every thing. Even making sure Joe holds the golf club right. her leash on and she would grab hold of it run to the car, jump in and ready to go for a ride. She was well behaved, though it took some time to train her. She stayed back when we open doors and when we would say OK then she would fly out the door. When her food was set down on a stand Joe made for her, she stood waiting how ever long it took, for our "good girl" and then dive into her food. She learned not to jump up on people. And most important was her coming on command when we call her, especially when we would see a bear or other critter.
Lilah loved to go for walks and she sort of liked the creek. The white one of course looks like Lilah. She loved life. And as her veterinarian has said over and over, she was nothing short of remarkable. She endured many surgeries, and pain, but never never gave us a hard time. She was full of life, and spirit. And loved people, and the attention she received. She loved our mountain, and roamed free. And now she roams in God's Heaven free of pain. We can feel her still keeping watch over her mountain, and sending her love. She loved to give slurpy kisses. Till we meet again Lilah_girl, keep watching. ~~~~~~~~~ My girls wanted us to go to one of their houses for Thanksgiving but we declined for we did not want to leave Lilah alone at all. So my one daughter said okay we will come have Thanksgiving at Lilah's house. The family did not know we put up Christmas tree and blended in Christmas decorations with the fall and Thanksgiving decorations and they were all so delighted when they saw everything and we had Christmas and took family pictures. What we didn't know till I got my pictures back, was Lilah had her last Christmas too. She loved Christmas and everyone here, so I know God had this all planned that we would have one final Christmas picture of our Lilah-Girl. We will bring her back home to her mountain.

They come in many shapes and sizes different breeds and
such..................
We watch them grow and nurture them teaching them right from wrong................
They only seek to please us and prove that they
belong..................
We pet their heads and give them hugs to show how much that means.....................
But all too soon their lives are lived, too soon, they must depart......................
