To One's Own Self Be True
 Sometimes as life goes it's way
T'is time to wonder, time to pray
As night passes into day
What one can do, what one can say.
As to just what end
One must constantly bend
In order to thoughtfully send
A message of love that can mend.
A heart that's stifled to forget
A soul that foolishly has not yet
Learned how one's needs can be met
Without worry, without fret.
To realize hard work and burning desire
Plus having courage to walk the wire
With a touch of faith to inspire
That sets the spirited heart afire.
Reach deep within your soul
Stretch far and wide to reach your goal
Don't let your heart have an empty hole
Set your spirit free and make you whole.
So please don't misconstrue
Each day can be excitingly new
When we work ideas through
And to one's own heart be true.
